How we handle data across our studio and the products we ship. Short version: we process as much as possible on your device, and we don't collect what we don't need.

EncodedArt, operated by 8372128 Canada Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), is an AI consulting and product studio. This Privacy Policy covers the encodedart.com website and the mobile applications we publish, and explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect on This Website

This website is a static site. It does not require an account, does not set tracking cookies, and does not run advertising or analytics trackers.

  • Information you send us: If you reach out by email or through our contact form, you choose what to share with us — typically a name, email address, company, and a message. We use that information only to respond to your inquiry.

2. Our Applications

The applications we publish are designed to process data locally on your device whenever possible.

  • Camera Data (Pix): Image data captured via the camera is processed in real-time using on-device frameworks such as Apple Vision and CoreML. We do not transmit video feeds or images to external servers for processing.
  • Personal Data: Our applications do not collect names, emails, or phone numbers unless you voluntarily provide them via our support contact channels.

3. Service Providers

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate our services. These providers have access to data only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  • Hosting: This website is served by Google Firebase Hosting. Like most web hosts, it keeps standard server request logs (such as IP address and browser user agent) used for security and operations.
  • Form storage: When you submit our contact form, the details you enter (such as your name, email address, company, and message) are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a database inside our own Firebase project, and are used only to respond to your inquiry.
  • Fonts: Web fonts are loaded from the Google Fonts CDN, which means your browser requests font files directly from Google's servers when a page loads.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy — for example, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements and policies.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page, with an updated effective date.
